More Than a Warranty: Standing Behind Our Customers
At TAG Manufacturing, warranty support is about more than repairing or replacing a part. From identifying the root cause to developing practical solutions, TAG works alongside customers to minimize downtime, solve challenges, and build better attachments for the future.

When an attachment fails, the customer’s priority is simple: get back to work.
At TAG Manufacturing, we understand that equipment downtime can mean lost productivity, missed deadlines, and added costs. That’s why our warranty process goes beyond simply determining whether a repair or replacement is covered. Every attachment is given a guaranteed one year warranty to be free from defects in material and workmanship. We work alongside the customer to understand what happened, identify the root cause, and find a practical solution. TAG’s goal is to work alongside you to solve any products.
Understanding the Problem
When a warranty issue comes in, the first step is determining why the product failed. TAG Engineering gathers as much information as possible, including photos, measurements, machine information, application details, operating conditions, and, when available, the failed component itself.
The goal is to identify the root cause rather than simply address the symptoms. A failure could be related to manufacturing, the application, operating conditions, or even how the attachment is being used. Understanding the complete situation allows TAG to determine the most appropriate path forward.
Throughout the process, a seasoned TAG representative stays personally involved. They understand the urgency of keeping a machine productive and work directly with the customer to gather information, communicate findings, and move toward a solution as quickly as possible.

Finding a Practical Solution
Once the cause has been identified, TAG Engineering evaluates potential solutions. Depending on the issue, that could mean increasing material thickness, adding reinforcement, changing geometry, selecting a different material, or modifying the manufacturing process.
Every solution is evaluated carefully to make sure it addresses the original problem without creating new ones. Engineering considers durability, performance, weight, manufacturing requirements, and cost before moving forward.
Not every warranty issue is the result of a manufacturing defect. Sometimes an attachment is being used in a unique or demanding application that requires a different approach. In those situations, TAG works with the customer to understand their specific needs and determine whether the attachment can be customized or modified. This could include reinforcing high-wear areas, changing capacities, or making other application-specific improvements.
Turning Problems Into Improvements
A warranty issue can become an opportunity to make a TAG attachment better.
When Engineering identifies a design improvement, the proposed solution is reviewed to ensure it is practical to manufacture and meets TAG’s quality and performance requirements. Once approved, drawings, bills of material, and other documentation are updated so future builds incorporate the improvement.
This process allows customer feedback and real-world experience to influence future products. A failure today can lead to a stronger design tomorrow.
Whether the solution involves a design change, a manufacturing improvement, or an application-specific modification, TAG uses what it learns to continuously improve the products customers depend on.

Standing Behind the Customer
At TAG Manufacturing, warranty isn’t just about repairing or replacing a part. It’s about standing behind the customer.
Our team understands that when an attachment is down, the job doesn’t stop waiting. That’s why we make every effort to help customers get back to work as quickly as possible — even when an issue isn’t determined to be a manufacturing defect, but the attachment is used in more difficult conditions.
From the first report to the final solution, TAG works side by side with the customer. We investigate the problem, involve Engineering, when necessary, communicate throughout the process, and look for solutions that make sense for the application.
That’s the TAG approach: stand behind the customer, work through the challenge together, and build a partnership they can rely on for their future attachment needs.
