From the moment equipment arrives from the OEM until it leaves TAG’s facility, every step is carefully coordinated to provide customers with a seamless experience and eliminate unnecessary delays.

From OEM Arrival to Jobsite Ready

The process begins the moment equipment arrives at TAG Manufacturing. Each machine is received, inspected, and scheduled into the Installation Department, where experienced technicians complete customer-specific installations based on build requirements.

“Our goal is to provide customers with equipment that’s ready to go to work the day it arrives,” says OEM Installation & Assembly Supervisor, Brandon Waller.

Whether the project requires hydraulic systems, electrical accessories, lighting packages, camera systems, safety equipment, specialized mounting solutions, or other OEM-approved options, every installation is completed with precision and attention to detail.

Once installation is complete, the machine moves through TAG’s comprehensive Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI). Every component is verified to ensure it meets TAG’s quality standards and the customer’s exact specifications before being staged for shipment.

As Waller explains, “Once it passes inspection, the equipment is staged for shipping, and we coordinate with the customer for an on-time delivery.”

Rather than coordinating multiple vendors or performing installations themselves, customers receive equipment that’s fully configured and ready to work.

“Our installation services eliminate the need for customers to coordinate multiple vendors or complete additional equipment installations after delivery,” Waller says. “By completing
the work before shipment, customers receive equipment that’s ready to work, reducing downtime, minimizing labor costs, and allowing them to put the equipment into service much faster.”

This streamlined process helps customers maximize uptime and start generating productivity as soon as their equipment reaches the jobsite.

Built for Volume Without Sacrificing Quality

TAG’s Installation Department is designed to support both high-volume production and specialized custom projects.

Working closely with production scheduling and outside vendors, the team maintains efficient workflows while meeting demanding customer timelines.

“Our team is structured to handle both high-volume production and custom installations while maintaining quality and consistency,” Waller explains. “We work closely with production scheduling and outside vendors to meet customer deadlines and keep projects moving efficiently.”

Depending on the complexity of each project, the department is capable of processing approximately 60 machines each month. While many installations average around 10 man-hours, larger custom projects receive the additional time necessary to ensure every detail is completed correctly.

“Our focus is always on delivering quality work without compromising schedule,” Waller adds.

After installation, every machine undergoes a thorough Pre-Delivery Inspection to verify all systems function properly and meet both TAG Manufacturing’s standards and the customer’s expectations.

“I’m proud of the team we have here in the Installation Department,” he says. “Every member takes ownership of their work and understands that the equipment leaving our facility represents TAG Manufacturing, OEM customers, and multiple vendors.”
